Hi, how's everyone doing?
I'm MJU and new to this forum.
I've been making music usuccessfully for the last 15 years (a lot of disbanded projects - earning a living with music is tough).
I've studied Jazz and Pop in Frankfurt and have been a Jack of all trades ever since.
Some of my projects were: Deceiver (a tiny Heavy Metal Band from Limburg), Luxury Sounds (Some old demos still fly around), a song with Naez, an EP that I produced for Wendy Marcillo ( on Apple Music) and a single that I've released on Bandcamp (Jessy's Smile) as MJU.
In between I also worked and still work as a singing teacher and songwriting coach.
I'm a big mythology & history nerd, I love fantasy, crime and sci-fi novels.
I love new experiences and am a food tourist. I live for songwriting and the spark that let's you write an entire song in seconds.
If I don't write, I don't live.
I think that's about the essence of everything.
Oh... and I'd love to collaborate with some of you (I've allready seen of your lyrics and songs
) and discuss songwriting and art overall (movies, pictures, books...)
When it comes to music taste I'm definetely all over the place:
The Beatles, Linkin Park, Bon Jovi, Dianne Warren, Wu Tang Clan, BeeGees, Metallica, The Warning, Bob Dylan, Celine Dion, Jim Steinman, Elvis, Bryan Adams, Sarah Mclachlan, Santana, Ed Sheeran, REN, David Bowie, Jefferson Airplane, U2, Michael Jackson, Eminem, Elton John, Jeff healey, Larkin Poe, Sting, mike Oldfield, Phil collins, Genesis, Aretha Franklin, Sienna Spiero, Adlele, Ryan Tedder, Timbaland, Beyonce, Labrynth, Radiohead, Tems, Maisie Peters, Toto, Tchaikovsky, Lionel Richie.....
