Ignore thread?

Good point. I never use it myself; but for a lot of people it is a great way of quickly opting out of a topic permanently.

I am so, so very sorry. I'm an idiot, as I'm sure you know very well; but particularly for contributing to that thread.

I love theatre; but I don't like needless drama.
 
I use the Ignore Thread feature extensively on VI-Control. I think I currently have about 1,500 threads ignored, but it's only because the most popular topics on VI-Control are usually the least important to me. It's really nice to wake up in the morning and have less than two pages of new posts to scan through.

I think this forum will need an Ignore Thread feature someday, but for now, I'm just happy to see new posts on any topic.

No apologies necessary, and I'm certain you're not an idiot :thumbsup:

I don't have anything against that thread, or most any other thread, for that matter. Obviously, a lot of people enjoy posting in that thread, so who am I to judge.

Just for me personally, that particular thread is not why I come here, so its constant presence atop the Latest posts list is a minor annoyance. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if I could suppress it.

But how do you write songs with no drama?

There's no actual drama in it. Just some humor. But I get it. I have ignored threads that annoy me. There just haven't been enough here yet to get to that point.
