Paulie here, from Arizona, grew up in the 70s playing acoustic guitar and piano. Loved all the singer-songwriters of the day (James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, etc... went bonkers when Billy Joel's "The Stranger" album came out). I'm better at putting other's lyrics to music, not a great lyric writer. Back in the day I also saw Star Wars three times in the theaters and that sparked my love for epic movie soundtracks, which is where I spend most of my effort now, but I've been longing to get more into trying to write that great song with just a voice and guitar or piano.
